Pie Shell is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sifted gold medal flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. shortening and 2 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift together flour and salt.
Cut shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives.
Sprinkle water over mixture.
Round into ball and roll out on a lightly floured board 1 1/2 inches larger than inverted 8-inch pie pan.
Place loosely in pie pan.
Fold edge under or over to make stand-up collar.
Prick thoroughly with a fork to prevent puffing.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 475Β°.
