Pickledilly Chowder
Pickledilly Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 peck green tomatoes, 4 medium onions, put through food grinder, 1 c. salt, 1 pt. vinegar and 2 qt. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix tomatoes, onions and salt; let stand overnight.
Drain and add vinegar and water and cook 20 minutes.
Drain and add 1 quart vinegar, sugar, peppers, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and mustard seed.
Cook 1/2 hour.
Can in pint jars or smaller.
Makes about 5 to 6 pints.
