Persimmon Pudding
Persimmon Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. persimmon pulp, 2 c. white sugar, 2 c. sweet milk, 2 c. sweet potatoes, grated or boiled and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix persimmon, sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs and milk together. Add flour mixture (dry ingredients, which have been mixed together), a little at a time, beating until smooth after each addition.
Stir in butter.
Pour mixture into greased and floured baking pan.
Bake in oven at 350Β° until firm, about 1 1/4 hours. Nuts, raisins or coconut may be added, if desired.
