Persimmon Pudding

Mix ingredients in order given.
Grease one pound coffee can well; fill 2/3 full.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Tie with string.
Steam at least 2 1/2 hours.
Take out of water and cool. Serve with whipped cream.
