Perfect Rolls
Perfect Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 2 pkg. yeast, 1 egg and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, salt, yeast and 2 cups flour. In pan, heat margarine and water until very warm (120° to 130°). Beat liquid into dry mixture until blended.
Increase speed to medium.
Beat 2 minutes.
Beat in egg.
Continue beating 2 minutes more.
With spoon, stir in remaining 3 to 4 cups flour to make a soft dough.
Turn on floured surface.
Knead 10 minutes.
Shape into ball.
Let rest 10 minutes.
Shape and raise 1 hour.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 400° oven.
