Peppered Steak
Peppered Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, 1 bell pepper, 4 stalks celery, 1/2 jar pimentos and 1 can campbell's consomme soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt 1/4 pound oleo. Add steak which has been cut in strips. Add sliced onions, bell pepper and celery. Cook for a few minutes. Add soup and soy sauce. Add pimento and salt to taste.
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add cornstarch if not thick enough.
Serve over potatoes or rice.
