Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 2 1/2 lb. chuck steak, 3 to 4 medium green peppers, 3 medium onions, cornstarch and 1 c. rice, cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown meat.
Add water to cover meat.
Simmer 30 minutes, covered.
Saute peppers and onions in a little oil until soft. When meat is finished, add a few dashes of soy sauce.
You may thicken the sauce with some cornstarch, if desired.
Combine meat and gravy with the cooked rice.
