Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. boiling water, 5 beef bouillon cubes, 1/4 c. cornstarch, 1/4 c. corn syrup and 2 lb. boneless chuck roast, cut into strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine water and bouillon cubes, stirring until cubes are dissolved.
Combine cornstarch with small amount of bouillon mixture, blending to a smooth paste.
Stir into remaining bouillon mixture.
Add corn syrup, meat, soy sauce and seasonings.
Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
Add green peppers to meat mixture and cook an additional 30 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
