Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. chuck, cut in thin strips, 1/4 c. oil, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown beef in oil. Add garlic.
Cook until yellow.
Remove garlic.
Add soy sauce, salt and
1/4 c. water.
Cook slowly 45 minutes until beef is tender.
Add vegetables (not tomatoes). Cook until tender.
Stir corn starch into 1 cup water and thicken gravy.
Add tomatoes, cook 5 more minutes.
Serve with rice.
