Pepper Steak
Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. top beef round, 1/4 c. salad oil, 1 c. water, 1 medium onion and 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Trim fat from meat; cut into strips.
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add meat and cook, turning often, until brown.
Stir in water, onion, garlic salt and ginger.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
Add peppers (cut into strips) and tomatoes (cut into strips) the last 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce; stir into meat mixture.
Stir constantly until thickened.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Serve over rice.
