Pepper-Cheese Bread
Pepper-Cheese Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. hot water, 2 1/2 c. plain flour, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in hot water.
Add half the flour, then egg, sugar, salt, soda and sour cream.
Blend for 1/2 minute with mixer on low speed, then blend for 2 minutes on high speed.
Stir in rest of flour, cheese and pepper.
Divide dough evenly in two 1 pound coffee cans
(well greased).
Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
