Pepper Biscuits
Pepper Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. flour, 2 tbsp. salt (level), 2 tbsp. coarse ground pepper, 2 tbsp. fennel seed and 1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. powdered yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix 1/4 cup warm water with yeast and let stand about 1/2 minute before mixing in the flour.
Then add all ingredients, mix well and knead for about 10 minutes.
Make small rolls and let rise in warm place for about 4 hours.
Roll out small pieces of dough by hand into size of a cigarette and about 16 to 18 inches long, twist and make round circle's and brush with beaten egg. Bake in 375Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
