Penuche Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or oleo, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. hot milk and confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt the butter.
Add the brown sugar.
Boil and stir on low heat about 1 minute.
Add the hot milk; stir constantly until it thickens somewhat.
Remove from heat; cool a few minutes.
While still warm, add about 1/4 cup or more confectioners sugar, depending on how thick you like your frosting to be.
