Penne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1/2 lb. bacon, cubed and cooked and 1 1/2 c. canned italian tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook bacon (soft).
Set aside.
Saute onions until pale gold. Combine with bacon.
Saute 1 minute.
