Penne with Broccoli
Penne With Broccoli is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. olive oil, 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced, 4 c. steamed broccoli, coarsely chopped, 1 can chicken broth and freshly ground pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a saute pan over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the steamed broccoli and saute for 1 minute.
Add chicken stock; raise the heat to high and cook until a lot of the liquid has evaporated, not all, stirring occasionally.
Bring water to a boil while cooking broccoli and cook penne.
Toss the pasta with broccoli sauce and season with pepper to taste.
Add Romano cheese.
Save some for serving.
Toss again and serve.
