Pecan Squares
Pecan Squares is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 2 minutes. Made with box yellow cake mix, eggs, c. oil, c. sugar and c. karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Combine yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and oil
Press into 13 x 9-inch greased pan and bake at 300° for 20 minutes
While cake is cooking mix 4 eggs, sugar, Karo syrup, butter, and chopped pecans
Pour mixture over cooked cake and bake 45 minutes on 300°
Since oven temperatures vary, during the last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking check closely
Do Not Over Cook. (Better than pecan pie if you can believe it.)
