Pecan Sandies
Pecan Sandies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 c. flour and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat oven to 325°.
Beat butter 30 seconds.
Add sugar; beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla and 2 teaspoons water; beat well.
Stir flour and pecans.
Shape into 1-inch balls or 1 1/2-inch fingers. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Heat in a 325° oven for 20 minutes.
Cool completely.
Gently shake in a bag of powdered sugar.
