Pecan Pralines
Pecan Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/3 c. white karo, 1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk and 1/3 c. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook first 4 ingredients, stirring constantly until a soft ball forms when dropped in cold water.
Add 1/3 cup butter and let cool.
When candy is lukewarm, beat and stir in pecans.
Continue to stir until candy will hold its shape when dropped from teaspoon on waxed paper.
Makes 36 patties.
