Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and salt.

Stir until blended.

Stir in pecans; pour into unbaked pastry shell.

Bake in hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate (350°) and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer or until firm around the edges.
