Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. (12 oz. bottle) log cabin syrup, 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans, 1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Bring syrup to a boil in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
Boil gently, uncovered, for 8 minutes.
Cool about 15 minutes.
Sprinkle nuts in pie shell.
Cream butter.
Blend in sugar, flour and salt.
Add eggs, syrup and vanilla; mix well.
Pour into shell.
Bake at 375Β° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until pie is completely puffed across top and browned.
