Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. pecans (whole or broken), 1/3 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and 1 c. dark corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 400°.
Prepare pastry shell.
Mix together eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter or margarine, vanilla and salt until well blended.
(Use an electric mixer.)
Stir in pecans and pour mixture into pastry shell.
Bake 15 minutes, then turn oven down to 325° and bake for 25 to 30 minutes longer.
Cool and serve.
