Pecan Pie
Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, pastry for single crust pie and 1 c. pecan halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar and butter or margarine.
Bring to boiling.
Boil gently, uncovered, 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Cool slightly.
Prepare and roll cut pastry. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
Flute edge; do not prick pastry.
Place pecans in pastry shell.
Combine eggs, vanilla and salt.
Pour cooled syrup mixture into eggs and beat well.
Pour over nuts (pecans will rise to top).
Bake in 375Β° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
Cover; chill to store.
