Pecan Molasses Cookies
Pecan Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. molasses, 1 egg and 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream shortening, sugar, molasses and egg.
Sift together the dry ingredients.
Add to cream mixture, then add butterscotch morsels.
Chill 2 hours.
Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
Place in sprayed cookie pan.
Top with pecan and bake at 370Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
