Pecan Drops
Pecan Drops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. soft margarine, 1/2 c. shortening and 1 c. sifted 10x sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift flour with salt; set aside.
In large bowl, beat margarine, shortening, sugar, cream and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
Stir in flour mixture until well combined.
Stir in nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2-inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or just until light golden brown.
Remove to wire rack; cool.
