Pecan Date Cookies
Pecan Date Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/3 c. butter, 2 c. packed brown sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 4 eggs and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time.
Sift together the flour, salt and soda. Add to the creamed mixture.
Stir in pecans and chopped dates.
Cover with wax paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Drop by tablespoons about 2-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375Β°.
Remove immediately from the baking sheet and cool on wire racks.
Makes 8 dozen.
