Pecan Cream Pie
Pecan Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, separated, 2 tbsp. flour (heaping), 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 or 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans and 1 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and flour with enough milk to mix.
Add egg yolks; beat well.
Add syrup, salt, remainder of milk, margarine and pecans.
Cook until thick.
Let cool.
Add vanilla; pour into baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites with 6 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until forms a peak.
Place on filling.
Bake until brown.
