Beat cream cheese, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 1 egg, vanilla and salt until thick and creamy.
Beat 3 eggs.
Add 1/4 cup sugar, Karo syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of unbaked pie shell.
Then sprinkle nuts on top of pie. Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
