Pecan Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, pinch of salt and 2 sticks margarine, room temperature, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix ingredients and spread wafer thin on a cookie sheet with sides.
Mixture will be thick.
Spread 1 egg white (unbeaten) over this and pour off excess.
Sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans with your fingers to cover completely.
Bake at 300Β° for 40 minutes.
Cut while hot in small squares or rectangles.
