Pecan Cake
Pecan Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil, 2 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon and 4 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine first 6 ingredients in order listed.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in pecans.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into batter.
Pour mixture into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour.
Invert pan and cool cake completely.
Remove from pan.
Sprinkle top of cake with powdered sugar.
May use walnuts instead of pecans.
