Pears with Wine
Pears With Wine is an easy dinner. Made with 2 ripe pears, 4 tbsp. (approximately) red wine or port, 1 tbsp. red jam or 2 tbsp. sugar and single cream or whipped cream or ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Peel pears.
Cut 1/2-inch off stalk end and remove core.
Put pears into covered dish with jam and wine and cook at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until a knife enters pear easily.
Turn pears 3 to 4 times during cooking.
Serve hot or cold with cream or ice cream.
