Pear Pie
Pear Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. grated lemon and 5 c. sliced pears, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and lemon rind in mixing bowl.
Prepare pears.
Arrange in layers in 9-inch pastry shell. Sprinkle sugar mixture over each layer.
Dot with butter. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Put crust over top with slits to release steam.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes, until pears are tender.
