Cream the butter, peanut butter and both sugars; beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift together and add flour, baking soda and salt. Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place in small muffin tins.
Dough will spread or fill tins.
Bake 8 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Press peanut butter cup in center until only top shows.
Let cool in tins.
