Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Set aside.
Cream together shortening and peanut butter.
Add sugars, egg, milk and vanilla.
Beat well.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly. Shape into balls by rounded teaspoonfuls.
Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove from oven.
Place chocolate Kisses into middle of each cookie and press down lightly.
Bake 2 more minutes.
