Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sauce
Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed, 2/3 c. light corn syrup, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 c. peanut butter of your choice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine sugar, syrup, margarine and salt in 1 1/2-quart glass casserole.
Microwave at High setting 4 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring after 2 minutes.
Add peanut butter, stir until smooth.
Stir in milk.
Serve warm over ice cream.
Makes 3 cups. Store in refrigerator if any leftover.
To reheat, microwave at Medium setting 1 to 2 minutes or until hot.
Do not boil.
Also good on pound cake and as vegetable sauce.
