Peanut Butter Fudge
Peanut Butter Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 1/2 c. white sugar, 1 large can evaporated milk, 1 stick margarine, 1 c. peanut butter and 12 oz. peanut butter chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine sugar, evaporated milk and margarine; cook for 5 minutes in heavy pan.
Use timer if possible to be sure of timing. Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter, chips, marshmallows and vanilla; stir.
Pan may be set in cold water to speed up process of cooling.
Continue beating until glossy appearance disappears. Pour at once into greased large pan or 2 smaller pans.
Nuts may be added, if desired.
