Heat oven to 375Β°.
Cream, in a large bowl, the sugar, brown sugar and butter.
Add eggs and peanut butter.
Set aside.
In a medium size bowl, mix together the flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 8 minutes.
Makes approximately 9 dozen.
