Mix thoroughly the peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and egg. Sift together and stir in the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of large walnuts.
Place 3-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour, crisscross.
Bake until set but not hard.
