Peanut Butter Cookies

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in peanut butter.
Sift dry ingredients and stir into cream mixture. Form into walnut-size balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press crisscross with fork for shape.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350Β°.
Makes 8 dozen.
