Mix sugars, Crisco, peanut butter and vanilla together in large bowl.
Beat in eggs.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add to peanut butter mixture.
Roll into 1-inch balls; press, with flour dipped fork, in crisscross pattern.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375Β°.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
