Cream shortening, salt and peanut butter in mixer.
Add sugars; add eggs, milk and flour sifted with soda.
Drop small spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Mash with fork.
Bake at 325Β° until done.
May also be used as icebox cookies.
Makes 5 dozen.
