Cream sugar, Crisco, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips.
Bake at 325Β° in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 to 30 minutes or until top of brownies turn light brown and edges start coming away from side. Cut while hot.
