Peanut Butter Blossoms
Peanut Butter Blossoms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening (oleo or crisco) and 1/2 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift the flour with soda and salt.
Cream the shortening and peanut butter with the sugars.
Add egg, milk and vanilla.
Blend in dry ingredients gradually.
Chill.
Roll in small balls the size of hickory nut.
Roll in sugar.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Put on the Kisses and put back in oven for 2 to 4 minutes longer.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
