Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. white sugar, 1 c. white karo, 1 c. water, 1 c. salted peanuts and 1 tbsp. oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put white sugar, Karo and water in a saucepan.
Stir only to dissolve sugar.
Cook until 295Β° or hard tack stage.
Leave on the fire.
Add peanuts and oleo; stir.
Remove from heat; quickly add soda and vanilla.
Pour on a greased cookie sheet.
