Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. white syrup, 1/2 c. water, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together baking soda, vanilla and salt; set aside.
Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a soft ball in water.
Add raw peanuts; cook until it reaches hard crack on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat.
Add soda mixture and mix well. Pour up while foaming into greased jellyroll pans and spread thin. Let cool and break into pieces.
