Peach Upside-Down Cake
Peach Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 2 sticks margarine (softened), 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained, 2 1/2 c. flour and 1 tbsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In pan, combine brown sugar and 1/2 stick margarine; melt. Spread on bottom of 9-inch round cake pan.
Arrange peaches on top in circles.
In bowl, combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon. In large bowl, beat remaining margarine and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg yolks.
Mix in flour mixture with milk and vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into batter.
Spread over peaches and bake at 350Β° for 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes and turn onto plate.
