Peach Turnovers
Peach Turnovers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. margarine and 2/3 to 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 425Β°. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly, then add milk to make dough soft.
Place dough on a cutting board and knead gently 30 seconds.
Divide dough in half and roll one half at a time into a rectangle, approximately 6 x 8 inches, about 1/4 inch thick. Cut each of these into 4 smaller rectangles, about 6 x 3 inches. Place slices of peaches on half of each rectangle, dot with margarine, and sprinkle with sugar.
Then fold these over and gently pinch turnover closed. Bake 15 to 18 minutes.
Makes 8 turnovers.
