Peach Pie
Peach Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. water and 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix sugar, salt, lemon juice and water in saucepan.
Cook until sauce is clear and thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; chill.
Line pie shell with 3 ounces cream cheese, softened with milk.
Mix sauce with peaches.
Spread over cream cheese. Whip the cream; add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice. Spread over peaches.
Chill several hours.
Garnish with peach slices.
