Peach Crisp
Peach Crisp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sliced fresh or canned peaches, 1/4 c. margarine, softened, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. flour and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place peach slices in an 8-inch square pan.
Cream margarine and 3/4 cup sugar.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Spoon mixture over fruit. Sift together remaining 1 cup sugar, nutmeg and cornstarch; sprinkle over batter.
Pour water over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 60 minutes.
Serve with whipped topping or ice cream.
