Pea Casserole
Pea Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1/3 c. chopped green peppers, 1 sm. onion, chopped, 1 c. chopped celery and 2 (17 oz.) cans small green peas, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt butter in a saucepan on low heat, add green pepper, onion, and celery, cook over low heat until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients except bread crumbs. Spoon mixture into a greased 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
