Payday Bar Cake
Payday Bar Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 yellow cake mix, 1/3 c. butter, 3 c. miniature marshmallows, 2/3 c. light corn syrup and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix together cake mix, 1/3 c. butter or margarine and egg.
Press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 12 to 18 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with marshmallows.
Return to oven for 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows begin to puff.
In a saucepan over medium heat cook corn syrup, 1/4 c. butter, vanilla and peanut butter chips until melted.
Remove from heat, stir in rice cereal and peanuts.
Spoon mixture over marshmallow topped cake and spread to cover.
Allow to cool before serving.
